The virtue of remembrance
Allah the Almighty says:
فَاذْكُرُونِي اَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِيْ وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ
“So remember Me, and I will remember you. And be grateful to Me, and do not be ungrateful to Me. ”
Surah Al-Baqarah: 2: 152
O you who believe, remember Allah, remember Him many times.
“O you who believe! And remember Allah much. "
Surah Al-Ahzab - 33:41
And the remembrance of Allah is multiplied,
"And men and women who remember Allah much. Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward."
Surah Al-Ahzab - 33:35.
And remember, O Lord, in your soul is the fear,
“And remember your Rabb in your heart, with supplication and fear, in a low voice; Morning and evening. And do not be among the indifferent. ”
Surah Al-A'raf: 205.
Moreover, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, "Whoever remembers his Lord, and whoever does not remember his Lord, let them be alive and dead." [1]
The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Shall I not tell you what is best in deeds, which is most sacred to your Lord (Allah), which is more honorable for you, than what is spent for you in the way of gold and silver?" Is it better for you to face your enemies and kill them, and they are better than killing you? ” The disciples said, "Yes." He said, "The remembrance of Allah." [2]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) further said, “Allaah says: He will find me as my servant thinks of me; And when she remembers me, I stay with her. So if he remembers me in his mind, I remember him in my mind too. And if he remembers me at a gathering, I remember him at a better gathering than that. And if he is one foot closer to me, then I am one hand closer to him. When he is one hand closer, I am one arm closer to him. And if he walks up to me, I'll rush to him. ” [3]
It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah ibn Busar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man said: O Messenger of Allah! The rules of Islam have become too much for me. So tell me something about which I will hold fast. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, "Let your tongues be ever alive in the remembrance of Allaah." [4]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) further said, “Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allaah (the Qur'aan) receives a reward in return; And one thawab will be equal to ten thawabs. I am not saying a letter to Alif, Lam and Meem. Instead, 'Alif' is a letter, 'Lam' is a letter and 'Meem' is a letter. " [5]
Uqbah ibn Amer (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Once the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) came out. We were staying in Suffa (in the courtyard of the Nawabi Mosque). He said, "Who among you would like to go to the valley of Buthan or Akik every morning and fetch two camels with high humps without breaking any ties of sin or kinship?" We said, O Messenger of Allah! We like that. He said: “Can't any of you go to the mosque in the morning and know or recite two verses from the Book of Allah Almighty; It is better for him than two camels. And three verses are better than three camels, four verses are better than four camels. And (not just camels, but at the same time) it would be better to get the same number of camels. ” [৬]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) further said: “Whoever sits in a meeting where he has not mentioned Allaah, his sitting will be a source of regret and despair for him from Allaah. And whoever sleeps in a place where he does not remember Allah, then that bed will be regret and despair for him from Allah. ” [৭]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) added: “If a party does not remember Allaah in a meeting and does not recite the darood on their Prophet, then that meeting will be a cause of loss and regret for them. God will punish them if He wills, or forgive them if He wills. ” [৮]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) added: “If a group of people got up from a meeting where they did not remember the name of Allaah, they would get up from the carcass of a donkey. And such a meeting will be a cause of regret for them. " God will punish them if He wills, or forgive them if He wills. ” [9]

"The example of the house in which the remembrance of God is, and the house in which the remembrance of God is not, is like the living and the dead."
